House Rules

Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours of 10pm – 6am

Please remove shoes when inside

Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited

Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a $500 fine.

Pets are not allowed in the property.

To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement

Friendly reminder that the linen closet is off limits to guests.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home with the exception of a few closets reserved for overflow supplies.

The whole-home generator will run once every Monday afternoon for about 30 minutes. No action required by you, but you will hear a "hum" in the background while it runs.

A dog previously lived in this home with the owners. While the house has been thoroughly cleaned by professionals, there may be the occasional dog hair. Therefore, it may not be suitable for people with sensitive dog allergies.

Guest interaction
You are welcome to check in and out at your convenience. There isn't a need to meet in person to exchange keys. We will be available through the Airbnb app or in person if something comes up during your stay.

Two blocks away is East 6th Street, a stretch known for its culinary variety. There you will find dining hot spots like Canje, Suerte, Vixen's Wedding and Via313. Whether you're into farm-to-table, Tex-Mex, or food trucks serving up globally inspired dishes, you won't have to venture far.

Morning Coffee:
A 5 minute walk is all it takes to get your morning cup of Joe. Our personal favorites: Figure 8, Lazarus, Royal Blue Grocery, Revival or Desnudo Coffee.

Outdoor Spaces:
East Austin provides easy access to outdoor activities. Parks and Lady Bird Lake (aka "The River") are nearby, offering a quick escape for those looking to kayak, bike, or just take a leisurely stroll.

If you're looking to experience Austin's nightlife, you're in the right place. From low-key bars to music venues, East Austin offers a range of options without the pretense. Whistlers, Hotel Vegas, Kitty Cohen's, White Horse and many others are only a few blocks away.

Getting around
Scooters are easy to find in the neighborhood. Many guests use them to get around or rideshare. A car might be nice to have, but isn't necessary if you're sticking to areas in East Austin.
