House Rules

Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours of 10pm – 8am

Please remove shoes when inside

Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited

Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.

One housebroken pet is allowed in the property. Please clean up after your pet.

To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement

Friendly reminder that the outdoor shed and linen closet inside is off limits to guests.

The space
Take advantage of this modern dream home in trendy East Austin. We have everything that you need for your next retreat or get-away. Three bedrooms, two full baths/one half bath, multiple patios, large backyard and full kitchen set you up for success on your next adventure. The property is fully fenced in for optimal privacy and security.

The main level features stained concrete floors, high ceilings, and a translucent garage door that opens to the front patio. On this level you'll find the living room with a 75-inch wall-mounted Frame TV, the kitchen with a large pantry, two bedrooms, a full and a half bathroom as well as a washer and dryer.

The upstairs features pecan wood floors and an open office/study with a built-in bookshelf with a wonderful selection of books to borrow during your stay. The expansive wrap-around sun deck with patio furniture leads to the master bedroom with a customized walk-in closet and a large double-sink bathroom.

It doesn't get much better than this in East Austin.

COVID-19

- Everyone in your group should be from the same household or quarantined together. Due to the pandemic, no guests should be allowed in the house outside of the booking party at this time.
- We are committed to providing a safe and clean space and can guarantee we will take every precaution to ensure the house is sanitized.
- Due to enhanced cleaning / sanitizing protocol, our cleaning session runs overtime. We are not accepting early check-in and late check-out requests at this time, unless we have previously agreed a time with you already. Please be sure to check out on time as our cleaner arrives promptly after 11:00AM to start the cleaning process after each stay.
- The Sriracha House is accessed by keyless entry so check-in can be completely contactless.

Guest access
You will have full, private access to the property -- living space (3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, multiple patios, laundry...) and large fenced in front and backyard space. Parking will accommodate two cars and there is additional free street parking.

NO SMOKING permitted on the property inside. This is a ZERO tolerance policy. If you must smoke, we expect you to do so at least 15 feet away from the home. Please DO NOT smoke in the sidewalk at the side of the building; smoke can easily flow into neighbors windows. Failure to abide by this rule will result in extra cleaning fees to 100% eliminate the odors and/or you may be asked to leave the property.

Please be mindful of your neighbors during your stay. Although you are in your own private oasis, we ask that all guest observe quite hours between
between 10:00PM - 9:00AM.

There are no parties or events permitted on the property. Exceeding the maximum occupancy, showing up with more guests than your reservations states, excessive drinking, smoking/vaping and/or not following guidelines for noise ordinances with not be tolerated.

The home comfortably sleeps 6 guests with one king bed and two queen beds available. The couch may offer additional living space. If you have more than 6 guests in your party, you must make the request with the property manager and if approved you may be subject to an additional fee. As mentioned, if there are more than the accepted number of guests on the property, you may be charged an additional fee.

THE KITCHEN / DINING AREA
The full kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and tools an amateur chef will need to whip up a full meal. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the large outdoor patio, make a favorite meal or take advantage of the close proximity to some of the best restaurants in Austin.

LAUNDRY
Washer/dryer in laundry in suite; you will find laundry/cleaning supplies in the same space.

Guests have access to the entire home.
Guest interaction
The house has keyless entry, so contactless check in is a huge plus during these uncertain times. We are only a phone call a way if you need us, but check-in will be contactless at this time.
Neighborhood overview
East Austin is keeping it fun. Whether you prefer drinking a cocktail by the pool at Kitty Cohen’s, roaming down East 6th at night, witnessing the largest urban bat colony in the world, or listening to live music at the historic Scoot Inn, you will never be bored on this side of town.

East Austin is keeping it active. Whether you prefer to walk, run, pedal, or paddle we have you covered. For the first three, check out the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail around Lady Bird Lake, the Southern Walnut Creek Trail adjacent to Govalle Park, or the Boggy Creek Greenbelt. For the latter, rent a kayak or SUP from one of the many rental spots along the lake and take in some fantastic views of the city skyline.

East Austin is keeping it tasty. From traditional family restaurants like Licha’s Cantina, Juan in a Million, Tamale House East, and Joe’s Bakery, to quintessential Austin food trucks like East Side King, Cuantos Tacos, Veracruz All Natural, and Spicy Boys, and more experimental spaces like Suerte, Launderette, and Kemuri Tatsu-ya, your taste buds will never be left wanting on the east side.

And, last but not least, East Austin is​​—always and forever​​—keeping it weird!
Getting around
The home is in walking distance to many restaurants and bars but if you are tired of walking, everything is a cheap Uber/Lyft ride away. Alternatively, you can also hop on a scooter :)
